Ingredients:
1kg pumpkin
1kg white wheat flour
200g oats flakes
50g chia seeds Midzu
40 g baker's yeast
olive oil for frying
organic coconut sugar Midzu q.b.
cinnamon powder q.b.
Bake the pumpkin and drain it well. In a large bowl, add the flour, flakes, seeds and yeast and mix well. Gradually add the cooked pumpkin and mix with you hands until you get a homogeneous and moldable dough. If necessary add a little of the cooking water.
Let the dough rest and rise for 1 or 2 hours.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and with the help of a spoon start frying dough balls.
Turn when they start to get golden. When they are done place them on a plate with paper towels to absorb excess oil. Then cross over coconut sugar and cinnamon powder.
This is a more nutritious version of traditional filhoses served on portuguese christmas table.
